Who We Are

International Realty Mortgage Funding Corporation (IRMF Corp.), is a broker and consultancy company specialized in financing residential and commercial construction projects in emerging countries. We operate internationally since 1990 and we have a excellent record of successful operations, even if still limited to a few countries.

Our main operational base is in Seattle (WA) - USA. We have four overseas subsidiaries covering our geographical spectrum (Bangkok - Asia, Mexico City - Central America, Montevideo - South America, Budapest - East Europe). Furthermore we have a number of local agents in various countries.

Our C.E.O., Mr. Kurt Portmann, has a long experience in the project finance and real estate fields. He’s been a successful investment banker in Europe up to joining IRMF Corp. other partners, in 1990, and start operating as IRMF Corp. main executive.

We work through long standing agreements with some major international mortgage bankers, and through an efficient and huge network of contacts with specialized investment funds and private investors which purchase the securitized loan packages structured with our assistance.

We do not operate with US clients. Due to this fact and to a very different environment available in the countries where we operate, we do not adopt some of US common rules and procedures for mortgage realty financing. Nevertheless the global process we follow is quite the same as in US mortgage financing.
